I Holland, the leading specialist manufacturer of tablet tooling for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, will be using PMEC India as a platform to showcase a number of its newest products to industry leaders during the exhibition.
[wp_ad_camp_4]Two of I Hollands latest products including the MF40 automated punch and die polishing machine and PharmaCote® CX and CX+ (Chromium Nitride Extra) coating will be exhibited for the first time to the Indian market at the exhibition from 3 5th December 2013.
The MF40 polishing machine was developed to be used as part of I Hollands recommended PharmaCare® 7-Step Process, a professional maintenance and storage programme. The next generation to the current range of MF polishers, the MF40 has a 40 litre media drum and increased capacity holders allowing a maximum of 51 B or 36 D punches per polishing cycle. The machine uses single phase power and fits in the same compact 940x750mm footprint as the MF35, making it a space and cost effective machine for manufacturers.
Automated polishing is an integral part of this 7-Step Process and will maximise trouble free tablet production by helping to keep tooling in perfect condition. By following this process and correct maintenance, costly tablet press downtime and compression problems associated with capping, tablet weight and thickness variation can also be reduced.
Andy Dumelow, I Holland PharmaCare® Manager and Market Manager for India said: PMEC India is the perfect event to introduce a number of I Hollands newest products to the market giving us the opportunity to meet with decision makers within the industry and explain more about the innovative, processes and market leading research that the company has developed to help our customers achieve effective manufacturing.
As well as highlighting the MF40 polisher, the other major introduction will be the PharmaCote® CX and CX+ coatings . CX is an enhanced Chromium Nitride coating, and has been developed to offer a longer life alternative to standard Chromium Nitride coatings.
The coating offers a very smooth finish, due to the unique method of application, and has outstanding anti-stick performance. PharmaCote® CX features a number of benefits over its competitors, the main one being prolonged tooling life due to a multi-layered application. It also offers up to 13 times more corrosion resistance than PharmaCote® HC (Hard Chromium) and up to 2 times the life of PharmaCote® CN (Chromium Nitride).
As well as I Hollands newest products, the company will be exhibiting its comprehensive portfolio of tablet tooling products. I Holland will be exhibiting at PMEC India stand C46 from 3 5th December 2013 alongside their Indian representative, Bowman Archer.
